STEAM Achievers Programs Expanding to more Locations in 2023-2024
STEAM Achievers Afterschool and Summer Programs will be expanding to over 11 locations, serving 40 scholars at each location. Having served over 960 scholars in the summers before the pandemic, we see a pattern of regression post-pandemic across K-12 and beyond. We need your help to bring back programming that helps bridge the widening achievement gaps among girls, neuro-divergent individuals and kids, youth and adults from diverse socio-economic backgrounds. Many of our programs also serve individuals from low income, single-mother head-of-households with limited resources, limited access to computers, reliable Wi-Fi and limited to no access to S.T.E.A.M. programs and career training and employment opportunities. We provide strategic, impactful, STEAM programs, workshops, hackathons, job training, professional development and more, to these amazing kinds, youth and adults, many of whom low computer literacy levels and literacy levels far below grade level. We welcome your tax deductible in-kind donations of new or used laptops or funding towards the cost of Chromebook laptops and WiFi to be shared among the locations.

Help us sponsor 150 high school scholars from Uplift Education from underserved communities, for this exciting S.T.E.A.M. event. Our heartfelt “Thank You” to all who sponsored our STEAM Achievers Hackathons. Thanks to your generosity, scholars have a great time teaming up with new friends from numerous Independent School Districts, charter schools and private schools to design video games, apps, webpages, graphics and digital solutions for children with autism and developmental disabilities. They rehearse their project presentations, deliver exceptional projects, and still have time to eat their hearts out, and have fun testing their peers’ games and make new friends!

- Donate $50 to sponsor 2 Uplift Education high school students for this event (Includes breakfast and lunch)
- Sponsor a whole class with your $500 donation (Includes breakfast and lunch)3 Buses are Needed to Transport 150 Scholars, Special Education (SPED) and Teaching Staff:
- Your donation of $1070 will provide bus transportation for 50 scholars
- Your donation of $2140 will provide bus transportation for 100 scholars
- Your donation of $3210 will provide bus transportation for all 150 scholars
